To further advance the integration of industry and education, align talent cultivation more closely with employers’ needs, and promote high-quality and full employment for graduates, a delegation from the School of Management visited Hubei Bohai Bio Holding Group on April 17, 2026, as part of the School’s employer outreach and job expansion initiative.
The delegation was led by Yan Huafei, Dean of the School of Management, and Luo Qiong, Deputy Secretary of the School’s Party Committee. It also included Zhou Yang, a faculty member from the Department of Management Science and Engineering, and Li Ziyu, a counselor for graduating students. The delegation was warmly received by Zhu Chenliang, Vice President of the Group; Song Dengfei, General Manager of its Hubei base; and heads of the human resources, finance, administration, and other departments.
During the symposium, Yan expressed the School’s appreciation for the Group’s longstanding support for university talent cultivation and graduate employment. He provided a detailed introduction to the School’s nearly four decades of educational experience, its disciplines and academic programs, faculty development, talent cultivation achievements, and the employment of its 2022 graduates.
Yan noted that the School’s programs in Business Administration, Accounting, E-Commerce, Big Data Management and Application, and Public Administration are closely aligned with the Group’s positions in finance, human resources, operations, marketing, and digital management. He expressed the hope that the visit would serve as an opportunity for the two sides to deepen cooperation across a broad range of areas.
Peng Liang, Human Resources Director of the Group, introduced its development history, industrial portfolio, technological strengths, and talent requirements. As a provincial-level key high-tech enterprise, the Group has established a strong presence in biofertilizers, innovative crop nutrition, and green chemicals. Supported by its polyglutamic acid biotechnology and highly integrated intelligent manufacturing capabilities, the Group ranks among the industry leaders in production capacity, technological expertise, and brand influence.
The Group is currently undergoing rapid development as it expands production capacity, strengthens research and development, and explores new markets. Consequently, it has a substantial demand for high-quality, application-oriented professionals in management, accounting, finance, and related fields.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, internships and practical training, graduate recruitment, and the development of cooperative bases, reaching consensus on several areas of collaboration. During the visit, the School formally presented the Group with plaques designating it as an “Internship and Labor Education Base” and a “Social Practice Base,” marking the establishment of a long-term and stable partnership.
Following the symposium, the delegation toured the Group’s production facilities, warehousing center, breeding base, and engineering technology center, accompanied by company representatives. The visit enabled the delegation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Group’s production and operations, technological research and development, industrial structure, and staffing needs.
The employer outreach initiative aligned the School’s employment services more precisely with the company’s recruitment needs, expanded employment opportunities for graduates, and laid a solid foundation for deeper industry–education integration and improved talent cultivation.
Going forward, the School will continue its employer outreach and job expansion initiatives, strengthen in-depth cooperation with high-quality enterprises, create strong employment platforms for graduates, and provide companies with highly qualified, application-oriented professionals, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the local economy.
