From June 26 to 28, a delegation led by Li Zhixu, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, visited Xinzhou No. 1 High School, Shiyan Dongfeng Senior High School, and other locations to conduct admissions outreach. The delegation also visited the family of a Wuhan Institute of Technology student from Shiyan.

On June 26, Li and the delegation visited the University’s admissions outreach site at Shiyan Dongfeng Senior High School. They met with University staff working on the front line, learned in detail about the progress of admissions outreach, and spoke cordially with prospective students and their parents.

The delegation introduced the University’s application and admissions policies and the distinctive features of its academic programs, encouraging prospective students to apply to Wuhan Institute of Technology.

The delegation subsequently visited the home of Zhu, an undergraduate who entered the School of Management in 2025. Li spoke warmly with the student’s parents and provided a detailed account of Zhu’s academic performance and daily life at the University.

He commended the student’s determination to pursue well-rounded improvement and expressed the hope that the family and the University would further strengthen their cooperation to help Zhu enhance overall competence and achieve comprehensive personal development.

Zhu’s parents warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed strong appreciation for the University’s regular home-visit initiative.

On the morning of June 29, Li and the delegation visited the University’s admissions consultation site at Xinzhou No. 1 High School. They met with the staff and reviewed the prospective student profile in the area.

At the consultation site, Li interacted with prospective students and their parents, carefully explaining changes to the University’s admissions policies, the distinctive features of its academic programs, and graduates’ development prospects. Taking into account each student’s examination score, provincial ranking, and intended fields of study, he also provided patient and individualized guidance on completing university applications.

The delegation was joined by Zuo Hui, Secretary of the School of Management Party Committee; Yan Huafei, Dean of the School of Management; Luo Qiong, Deputy Secretary of the School’s Party Committee; Xia Zhimin, Secretary of the School of Art and Design Party Committee; and Wang Chao, Deputy Secretary of the School of Art and Design Party Committee.
